Absolutely! Many feeding trials over several years and a lot of research have gone into our meal recipes and they have been proven to be a nutritious, complete and balanced diet for your dog.

How much do I feed my dog?

Like humans, a dog's metabolism can vary greatly. The exact portion to feed your dog depends on your dogs weight, individual metabolism, age, and activity level. After starting Chompster monitor your dog's weight and adjust accordingly. You may find that you don't need to feed your dog as much because the nutrients in Chompster are more digestible than other foods. Please refer to the Chompster Daily Feeding Guide below for recommended portions and general guidelines.

Is Chompster better than a raw diet?

According to the FDA, a raw meat diet for animals are not consistent with the goal of protecting the public from significant health risks, particularly when such products are brought into the home and/or used to feed domestic pets. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) make the following statement on their website concerning raw dog foods: “CDC does not recommend feeding raw diets to pets. Germs like Salmonella and Listeria bacteria have been found in raw pet foods, even packaged ones sold in stores. These germs can make your pets sick. Your family also can get sick by handling the raw food or by taking care of your pet."

Due to the dangers of the raw meat diet, we believe that Chompster is a much safer option for your pet. With Chompster, you are providing a balanced and nutritious diet that your dog will love.
